MPD\u2019s part number BH3DL is a battery holder that accepts 3 D-cell batteries in a series configuration with an output of 4.5 volts when using standard alkaline cells. The holder is made of black polypropylene offering good stiffness, heat resistant, homopolymer and is rated for food contact. The BH3DL has a UL94HB flammability rating of -10\u00b0C to +100\u00b0C. The spring contacts are nickel-plated spring steel, brass eyelets with nickel plating. Easily attach wires to the two solder eyelets with 1.4 mm Dia. openings for common hook up wire. It is also RoHS 2 compliant for worldwide distribution and meets worldwide standards, guaranteeing quality.\u00a0D cell\u2019s are also called UM-1 batteries, R20, ANSI\/NEDA 13A carbon zinc batteries and alkaline numbers\u00a0 LR20, ANSI\/NEDA 13D\u00a0 and also common rechargeable batteries.
