MPD\u2019s part number \u201cBH4DL\u201d is a battery holder that accepts four D-cell batteries in a series configuration with an output of 6 volts when using standard alkaline cells.\u00a0 The holder is made from black polypropylene offering good stiffness, heat resistant, homopolymer and is rated for food contact. The BH4DL has a UL94-HB flammability rating, and a temperature range of -10\u00b0C to +100\u00b0C. The spring contacts are nickel-plated spring steel, brass eyelets with nickel plating. Easily attach wires to the two solder eyelets with 1.4 mm Dia. openings for common hook up wire. It is also RoHS 2 compliant for worldwide distribution and meets worldwide standards, guaranteeing quality.\u00a0D cell\u2019s are also called UM-1 batteries, R20, ANSI\/NEDA 13A carbon zinc batteries and alkaline numbers\u00a0 LR20, ANSI\/NEDA 13D\u00a0 and also common rechargeable batteries.\u00a0The BH4DL uses 6-32 machine screws or eyelets for mounting purposes.\u00a0<\/em>Also adhesive and double sided tapes work well.<\/em><\/p>\n
