MPD’s part number “BH26DL” is a battery holder that accepts six D-cell batteries in a series configuration with an output of 9 volts when using standard alkaline cells.  The holder is made from black polypropylene offering good stiffness, heat resistant, homopolymer and is rated for food contact. The BH26DL has a UL94-HB flammability rating, and a temperature range of -10°C to +100°C. The spring contacts are nickel-plated spring steel, brass eyelets with nickel plating. Easily attach wires to the two solder eyelets with 1.4 mm Dia. openings for common hook up wire. It is also RoHS 2 compliant for worldwide distribution and meets worldwide standards, guaranteeing quality. D cell’s are also called UM-1 batteries, R20, ANSI/NEDA 13A carbon zinc batteries and alkaline numbers  LR20, ANSI/NEDA 13D  and also common rechargeable batteries. The BH26DL uses 2-65 machine screws or eyelets for mounting purposes.
