MPD’s part number BS3I-MC is a 9 volt heavy duty battery snap in an I style. Made of white with blue insert polyethylene, and the contacts are nickel-plated brass with 3 inch wire leads. The wires are 24 AWG or 26 AWG gauge and UL-1007 certified. Resistance up 300 Volts and 80°C. The I style is a 2 piece molded case construction with crimp connections, crimp on wire insulation and on wire provides strain relief that standard soldered snaps do not have. It is also RoHS 2 compliant for worldwide distribution and surpasses ANSI/EIA standards, guaranteeing quality. The BS3I-MC is an I style molded cover 9V snap.
